Water sterilization plants

Water sterilization units are designed to destroy pathogens present in the water using ultraviolet radiation of high intensity.

The high-intensity ultraviolet light destroys bacteria, viruses, mold, yeast fungus and other similar organisms.

Sterilization process is achieved by passing the water through the stainless steel chamber, where one or more UV lamps are mounted.

UV lamp is mounted in a quartz coupling and is fixed inside the chamber, allowing fluid flow around the lamp on all sides.

The intensity of radiation and the size of the chamber cause the flow rate required for effective treatment.

Therefore, there are cells of different sizes, arc discharge lamps of different configurations and different range of output capacities.

• UV lamps;
• UV monitor;
• thermostat;
• valves with manual, pneumatic or electric actuators;
• piping made of carbon steel, stainless steel or plastic (PVC, PP, PE);
• measuring instruments (pressure gauges, temperature gauges, flow meters, etc.);
• supporting frame structures;
• process controller.
